I was going to guess that the titles are in order by their author's last name, but then mine would be before "The First Test." Is it by library call number?
Also, I want to read some of these books. They look intriguing. And I'm very fond of the name of the book you've given my blog. ;o)
I think it is the order in which the books were published?
As in, Swallows & Amazons was published a damn long time ago, and so on.
erin got it right (it was easy) but *I* got the alphabetization wrong. The First Test was originally A Wrinkle in Time but I changed it because the Tamora Pierce book seemed more appropriate. But then I forgot to move it in the list.
Bad librarian!
